1. How to install Network dial-up adapter
   1. Single left click on Start button -> Settings menu -> Control Panel menu
   2. Double left click on Add/Remove Programs icon
   3. Single left click on Windows Setup tab
   4. Double left click on Communications (not check box)
   5. Single left click on Dial-up Networking check box
   6. Single left click on OK button
   7. Insert Windows 95 CD-ROM / diskettes as required.
   8. Restart Windows 95

2. How to install TCP/IP protocol
   1. Single left click on Start button -> Settings menu -> Control Panel menu
   2. Double left click on Network icon
   3. Single left click on Add button
   4. Double left click on Protocol
   5. Single left click on Microsoft
   6. Double left click on TCP/IP
   7. Single left click on OK button
   8. Insert Windows 95 CD-ROM / Diskettes as required
   9. Restart Windows 95

3. Adding Dial up networking entry for Merlin Internet Services access
   1. Single left click on 'Start' button -> 'Programs' -> 'Accessories' -> 'Dial-up Networking'
   2. Double left click on Make New Connection
   3. Enter 'Merlin Internet Services' in 'Type a name for the computer your are dialing' entry box
   4. Select left modem from 'Select a modem' dropdown list box Single click on Next -> button
   5. Enter '2' in 'Area Code' entry box '4735-7699' in 'Telephone number' entry box
   6. Select 'Australia (61)' in 'Country code' dropdown list box
   7. Single left click on Next -> button
   8. Single left click on Finish button
   9. Single right click on 'Merlin Internet Services' icon -> properties
   10. Single left click on 'Server Type' button
   11. Uncheck 'Allowable network protocols' 'NetBEUI' and 'IPX/SPX Compatable' check boxes
   12. Single left click on 'TCP/IP Settings...' button
   13. Single left click on 'Specify name server addresses' radio button
   14. Enter 203.23.41.12 into 'Primary DNS' entry box
   15. Enter 203.23.41.10 into Secondary DNS' entry box
   16. Single left click on 'OK' button
   17. Single left click on 'OK' button
   18. Single left click on 'OK' button

4. Dialing Merlin Internet Services
   1. Single left click on 'Start' button 'Programs' 'Accessories' 'Dial-up Networking'
   2. Single left click drag and drop 'Merlin Internet Services icon onto Windows 95 desktop
   3. Single left click on shortcut information 'You cannot move or copy this item to this location. do you want to create a short cut to the item instead?' 'Yes' button
   4. Double left click on 'Merlin Internet Services' icon on Windows 95 desktop or icon in 'Dial-Up networking' menu
   5. Enter username specified on your Merlin Internet Services - Internet Access application into 'User name' entry box
   6. Enter password specified on your Merlin Internet Services - Internet Access application into 'Password' entry box
      NB: passwords are case sensitive (lower case is different than upper case)
   7. Single left click on 'Save Password' check box (if not 'grayed' out)
   8. Single left click on 'Connect' button to dial Merlin Internet Services!
